Different Halloween costumes are much more fun than that everyday stuff. They're the costumes that are noticed at parades and parties. They're those facades long remembered after the last superhero has been put to bed. They can be represented by that walking garbage pail, that peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or the flashing traffic light. They often teeter on the line of the bizarre and bring pleasure to those who wear them as well as to those who are entertained by them.
Walking up and down those Halloween store aisles doesn't always allow for the purchase of truly different Halloween costumes. The most selective costumes will probably come from the imaginations and hands of the do-it-yourself-costume designer. However, if you are not that crafty, there are many Internet sites offering a more select and unique costume base. Generally, a little more costly, they offer a fresher line of ideas.
Craft stores, too, offer a wonderful base for building a costume. Some even offer workshops to help you invent and piece together that one of a kind look. Just remember that all-important rule when it comes to truly original and different Halloween costumes: there are no rules!
