Kids love games and Halloween party games for kids are especially fun. When you are planning a party be sure to include Halloween party games for kids.

A good game to begin with is called Monster Freeze. All you need for this game is a CD player and a CD. Halloween music works well for this game. The kids begin to dance to the music and when you turn the music off they must freeze in a monster pose. Anyone who moves is eliminated from the game.

Another popular game is Hidden Halloween Words. The kids try to make as many words from the word Halloween as they can. Set a time limit and award prizes at the end of the game.

Spooky Halloween Sounds is a game that can be played by grade school kids. Ahead of time, record sounds on a tape. At the party play the sounds and see how many the kids can identify.

Mummy Wrap is a game that only requires a roll of toilet paper for each team. The kids work in teams of two. One is the mummy and the other uses the toilet paper to wrap her up. The first team to complete a wrapped mummy using the entire roll of toilet paper is the winner.

If you are using a witch theme at your party, you may want to play the Witch’s Hat Toss. Purchase a black witch’s hat and chenille stems from your craft store. Form rings with the chenille stems and give each player three. The players try to toss the chenille rings over the point of the witch’s hat.
