Who Else Wants the Best Halloween Costume

Every year as Halloween approaches thousands of people look for the best costume for themselves, their kids, their significant other or even for their Halloween party theme. And you know what? Every year there are thousands of costumes to choose from, and these will include new costumes for that particular year or from previous years that still work very well. And there are always a large number of alternatives.

How should you go about finding “your best Halloween costume?

“Best” in this case will be the costume that makes you “feel” good! This feeling should include: that you look good, that the chosen theme is one that you like and in fact one that motivates you to do your own thing. It should also be accessible (spending thousands on a costume is not such a good idea) and delivery should be simple. There is probably nothing worse than waiting for your costume to arrive when everybody else has already changed and are just waiting for you. One of the best, simplest and more practical options is to search and buy on line. In other words piece of mind is also part of “best”.

All this means that your “best” will not necessarily be anybody else’s best. There can be great similarities, but in the final count, its how you feel with your costume that matters.

So the here are a few tips that will help you find your best Halloween costume.

1. Themes: Everyone has different tastes. You may like the witches and wizards theme, while the next person likes fairies, Peter Pan and furry animals. Somebody else always wanted to be a pirate while the next one wants to be a princess. One wants few clothes, another wants a mask. She is wants to be a sexy witch and her friend wants to be a Viking Princess.

It is all a matter of taste: of likes and dislikes: and they are all right.

Here is a list of potential Halloween themes to get your appetite going. Once you have chosen your theme everything else is so much easier as you have narrowed down your choices from far too many to enough. Another thing before detailing them – themes also work perfectly well if you are looking for a costume for your self, a kid, for a themed party or for a friend. They just work well.

  1. Super Heroes. Here you will have the cartoon characters and especially those that have recently been made into movies, or are in a TV series. A few example could be Batman, Transformers, Homer Simpson and even Mighty Mouse (does anyone still remember him?). Surely Wolverine will be here as well. If you have a Super Hero, then surely you can also look at some of the Super Villains – The Joker, Catwoman, Megatron …
  2. Witches and Wizards, Vampires and Zombies. And with this theme there are some excellent costumes – sexy looking or very macho. And the styles allow for most personal tastes.
  3. Celebrities. Well this year Michael Jackson costumes will be extremely popular for obvious reasons. (Thriller and Billie Jean). There is also Hannah Montana. You can include a few Politicians. And so on
  4. Historical Figures: From Cleopatra, to Caesar, Louis XV or Washington. You also have the choice of period costumes.
  5. Sexy Ladies. Dark handsome men.
  6. Classical Halloween. Which is still a great alternative.Devils, goblins and ghouls, ghosts, skeletons.
  7. And then there are the movie themes. There are the current films, and previous blockbusters. For example Pirates of The Caribbean, GI Joe, Star Trek and Star Wars. What movie have you seen this year that is “Halloweenable”?

2. After choosing your theme things get so much easier. And just to keep things simple, here is a 1, 2, 3 of the process:

  1. It is now a matter of looking at the available options, making sure they have the right size for you, making your choice and ordering them.
  2. After that receiving your costume, try it out. This is the equivalent of the dress rehearsal. Walk about, feel comfortable and enjoy the moment. Do this on your own so the surprise isn’t lost.
  3. Dress up on the night – give yourself a little treat and use a little make-up (or a lot depending on the costume). And enjoy.
