Bobbing for Apples
This classic harvest game gets messy, so play this one outside. Place a round wash tub on a table, and fill it with water. Float apples on top. 1. For the autopsy game, draw a body outline on the ground. Let the children choose vegetables to lay in the outline to represent organs. The victim should then fall over dead — the more theatrics, the better. A ‘witness’ is any player who sees the wink, and calls out ‘witness.’ The witness is declared the winner, and a new round can begin.

Halloween Games Idea #1

If you want to play a game similar to Pin The Tail On The Donkey, you can use a large drawing of a pumpkin instead. For the prop you just need to draw a big pumpkin on a piece of paper. Don’t draw the nose on the pumpkin but cut one out of paper for each child. Play the game just like you would the original one.

The Gross Body Parts Game requires several props. You will need peeled grapes for the eyes, spaghetti for the guts, Jello for brain matter and chicken bones for bones. You turn the lights down low and pass containers with the food. Each child has a chance to feel the food and identify it.
